Dee River Basin Management Plan

Deeside Power Station recently hosted the launch of the Dee River Basin Management Plan, part of the Environment Agency Water Framework Directive.

River basin management is an opportunity for this generation, for people and organisations to work together to improve the quality of every aspect of the water environment.

The Environment Agency, together with a panel of sector representatives called the Dee liaison panel, have produced a draft River Basin Management Plan for the Dee River Basin District. The plan describes what everyone has to do to improve the water environment over the next 20 years.
